Through the microscope

The best tutorial I have found on using Electric Quilt 7 to make foundation piecing patterns.

Shape Moth, I love you!

  1. Thanks — I’ll share it with a non-blogging quilter friend in Albuquerque.
    Have a lovely Sunday.

  2. Penny — first I hope you’re feeling better today. 🙂

My quilter friend in Albuquerque just sent me this video. Thought you might enjoy it too.

    • Awesome! I love videos on cutting techniques. They are so simple and I always wonder why I never thought of that.
I’ve never seen anyone make a tube like that before. I’ve done seminole which involves cutting at an angle and it looks very good. At some point I want to make a bargello quilt which involves sewing tubes of fabric.. They are really simple and stunning.

I might make a bargello microscope cosy as a practice piece.
